After driving a Honda civic Hybrid for a few months, i realise that it is really a very fuel efficient vehicle. This is especially so while applying the hypermilling technique. Even without any technique it still perform better than any normal car in term of fuel consumption. So out of curiosity, i did a search and find out that there are quite a few hybrid vehicles in Singapore car scene. Surprising, Lexus have the most type of hybrid while Toyota come in 2nd and Honda is 3rd. But one thing for sure, while it help the owner save on petrol but they need to pay more upfront to buy the hybrid version of the vehicle. That i feel is sad and a clear message to discourage people from owning a hybrid vehicle.
Money aside, i am wondering which car company have already perfect the Hybrid technology…
